It's a turn :) Don't Panic (refer Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy). I took out a great saying "We all meet at the Red Light and all start together again.". Of course that "great" over there is self-proclaimed. I only hope that everybody remembers some good things about the corridor(kindly change spelling in your blog) so that they are not allergic to walking those doors again. May God bless, that's again an artists work :), Best wishes GS
Well actually I wud have agreed with Ankit had they been my school corridors:). But the realisation is that we should not always think of TAKING something from these corridors but rather GIVING something to these, so that they are memorable. When we give something to a beggar we feel good (I mean I feel good) because it makes me realise that I am capable of giving. The beggar does nothing for me, possibly prays maybe..... So Ankit do that art of living course again ! and please take Nishant with you :). Best wishes, GS P.S.:Now I would like to walk the corridors of my school again, even if they were not good to me.
sochta hoon aksar main yeh safar khatam hoga kab par aisi manzilein paakar bhi kya karna humraahi peechhe chhoot jaaye jab.
Sweat dripping from my brows Even as a cold wind blows Straining my neck to see beyond the bend When will this road come to an end.
I run hurriedly, almost blindly Darting towards the end with a dash But once am there, grinning blithely All my dreams suddenly seem to crash.
I have reached my goal But now I feel a void I can't sit dormant Am a human, not an android.
Even though I don't have another penny with my hopes keeping me company I start for another journey Another tryst with my destiny
The true elixir of life is this never ending road with all its pains (nd gains) cuz the day the journey ends it wud be curtains
In short, musaafir hoon yaaron mujhe chalte jaana hai.......
P.S. This is a 2 in 1 comment for the latest posts on both ur blogs....Feel free to copy paste it there....(I know I don't need to tell u that....lol...)
@ Gaurav Sir : "makes me realise that I am capable of giving" Agreed!
For me, more than the give and take, memories of the people who walked those corridors with me are more important. The rest.. In the end, it doesn't even matter..
@ J : Thanks and Sorry :) P.S: This is the 13th post.
hmm...reveling in the last days of collg haan!!! N i guess these corridors present us with the same ol predicament... the ending is just a beginning of many more endings to come...guess these corridors would lead u to places u'd never even have dreamt of !! :)
@Anom I agree with perpective distortion achieved in this photo is is a master pice. But gonzols poultry house being the best example of of this tecnique, take a look at swirling green by Jenny Yee and brooklyn bridge by Ian Gunn.:) maybe You are right
@Nishi: I almost never comment on had i not read anom comment. the natural lighting that comes through the pillars , the angle you have chosen are all compliment each other rather nicely. The clean floor and the brown wall creates a brilliant contrast. All in all I like it. And u ask my name in response to my previous comments Well im a frnd of a frnd.
